What will you learn during the training?

Employees and their supervisors share responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy workplace. Both knowledge and skills are important. During the training, participants will learn about:

Proper hand washing and disinfection techniques.
Key moments when hand hygiene is critical.
Correct use of gloves.
Hygiene requirements for work clothing and how to launder it.
Personal care including hair, nails, sneezing, and wound care.
Wearing jewelry and using smartphones on the work floor.

Interactive Training

Under the guidance of an infection prevention expert, participants engage in an interactive training lasting approximately 2 hours. Sessions are held in groups of no more than 12 participants to ensure quality and interaction. A properly functioning handwashing facility must be available during the training.

No prior education is required to participate in the ‘Hand hygiene and personal hygiene’ training. It is important that all participants in the group speak, understand, and can read and write basic English.
