What is a dipslide? Microbiological monitoring made easy

A dipslide is a plastic paddle with a nutrient medium (agar) on both sides, designed for specific microorganisms. The nutrient medium is hygienically sealed in a tube. By pulling the dipslide out of the tube and pressing the medium onto a surface or placing it in a liquid, microorganisms present are transferred to the medium. After incubation, the colonized medium can be compared with images on a reference chart, providing insight into hygiene levels.
