During a training “Laundry Technology in Practice,” the fundamentals of the various topics important to professional laundry are covered. This knowledge provides a clear understanding of how laundry operations work, making daily work even more enjoyable and efficient. Participants will learn:

  • More about the structure and operation of different washing processes.

  • How these factors affect the outcome.
  • Characteristics of the main types of textiles.
  • What effect the washing process has on textile wear and tear.
  • What differences there are between washing machines.

Our approach during the training course ‘Laundry technology in practice’ is to make regular links to the participants’ own practice. As a result, we often see participants discussing with us and with each other during the training about how they can do their laundry work even better.

Who is the training for?

The training is developed in such a way that it always fits well with the role of the participant in the laundromat. For example, we regularly provide this training for (prospective) launderers, production managers, technical service employees, team leaders, Q&A employees and also for account managers of laundromats or suppliers.

Practical information

This training is offered at different levels and can be tailored to the desired topics and depth. The duration of the training is 1 or 2 days of 6.5 to 7 hours per day. In consultation it is also possible to split the training into separate morning or afternoon sessions. To guarantee personal attention, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 10 persons per session. Upon completion, each participant receives a certificate of participation in recognition of the knowledge gained.
