Laundry and dry cleaning

Washing and cleaning

What will you learn during the training?

During this training we will discuss differences between washing, wet cleaning and dry cleaning. We explain which method best suits different types of textiles and soiling and why that is so. To better learn how to remove specific stains, the theory behind detaching is also covered. This knowledge provides a good foundation, which makes working in dry cleaning even more fun and challenging and allows participants to gain even more practical experience with confidence. Participants will learn:

  • More about the characteristics of the main types of textiles;
  • What factors are important in removing different types of stains;
  • What the differences are between washing, wet cleaning and dry cleaning;
  • How they can determine which method of cleaning best suits type of textiles and soiling;
  • More on the basics of spot posting.
  • What differences between laundry processes and washing machines mean in practice.
  • How the different types of finishing equipment work.
