First Aid Fire Security

Do you and your colleagues know what to do in the event of an accident, fire or evacuation? Are there enough people in your organisation who can give first aid, know how to reanimate or operate an AED? In cooperation with VIIA-training, we regularly provide in-house emergency response training, so that in-house emergency response workers know how to act and can prevent casualties. This is the safest way for colleagues and visitors.

First Aid Fire Security

What will you learn during the training?

During FAFS training, participants learn how to act in the event of an accident, fire or evacuation. A certified instructor covers the most important theory and ensures that there is also plenty of practice. Among other things, we cover how to act as a first aid fire security worker.

  • Be able to perform first aid.
  • Must perform CPR and operate an AED.
  • Properly apply pressure and cover dressing.
  • Can act in case of choking.
  • Fighting an starting fire.

The number of in-house emergency response workers within a company is not set by law, but every employer is required to organize proper in-house emergency response (FAFS). Often companies ensure that there are always trained in-house FAFS officers, meaning that at least two employees are trained as FAFS officers.

On-site training or participate in ‘open enrollment’

Although there are often enough employees who need to be trained as FAFS or to attend their annual refresheshment course, it can also happen that there are only one or a few participants. Therefore, in addition to the possibility of providing on-site FAFS training, we also offer the option of enrolling single participants in our “open enrollment” courses.

Practical information

The total FAFS training takes about 8 hours and is preferably scheduled on one full day. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 12 people, so that sufficient attention is given to each participant even during practice. Upon completion, all participants will receive an official FAFS certificate and badge.
