Biological contamination

Prevention and control

Soiled textiles can contain microorganisms from previous users. Therefore, it is important to disinfect these textiles properly during the washing process and to protect them afterwards against re-contamination, so that they arrive back at the customer in a hygienic way. Our RABC check (Risk Analysis Biocontamination Control) is aimed at accurately analyzing the microbiological condition of your processed textile and identifying possible risks of recontamination. We do this fully in accordance with the guidelines of the RABC standard NEN-EN 14065. In case of possible deviations, we give specific, practical advice on how to improve.

How do we work?

For hygienically clean textiles

RABC control

During a RABC inspection, we check the hygiene of finished textiles and hard surfaces in your laundry. This periodic check helps demonstrate that the textiles delivered meet the required hygiene standards. With our report, you can convince your customers, where a high level of hygiene is essential, of the reliability and hygiene of your laundry processes.

Risk analysis for biological contamination

RABC in accordance with NEN-EN 14065

If you let us perform a RABC check, we will do so in line with the NEN-EN 14065 standard. This standard has been specially developed for industrial laundromats and helps them guarantee the microbiological quality of laundry by carefully analyzing and controlling risks of contamination. Many laundromats that supply textiles to sectors such as the healthcare, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries work according to this standard to protect their customers against the risks of (re)contamination.

All questions

How do I schedule a consultation with CCD?

On our contact page, you’ll find several ways to get in touch with us quickly. Together, we’ll easily schedule an initial digital consultation to discuss your needs and questions.

How long will it take for me to receive the results of the measurement tools?

We strive to analyze returned measuring devices as soon as possible. The processing time depends on the type of measurement device. Some measuring devices, such as the DES controller, require incubation and still others, such as the ICM, WCM, or MSM, require specialized work. As a guideline, you can assume that the results of the most common measuring devices will be reported to CCD within five working days of receipt.

How long are measuring instruments shelf life?

The shelf life of measuring agents varies by type. The expiration date is indicated on the packaging and/or in the accompanying documentation. Because we often deliver directly from stock, we advise you to order measuring instruments relatively shortly before use. This ensures that you always receive fresh materials and that there is sufficient time to return the instruments for analysis before the expiration date.
